Our beds do not require a box spring. The bed frames consist of sturdy solid oak wood beam, ensuring stability and preventing any bouncing movements.

Once assembled, the bed boards are laid atop the frame, as illustrated in picture above depicting our queen bed frame structure.

The slots for the bed boards to sit on horizontally are constructed of durable metal, ensuring strength and enabling repeated disassembly without any issues.

Our beds feature a fully adjustable platform on which the mattress sits, allowing it to accommodate mattresses ranging from 6 inches to 15 inches in height.

Once assembled, the bed surface remains flat without any concavity. The mattress is intentionally designed to be flush on each side. This deliberate design choice provides additional safety by helping prevent accidental bumps for both children and adults while also optimizing interior space usage. Additionally, the footboard encloses the mattress to help keep it securely in place and prevent it from sliding up or down.

All exposed corners of the bed feature rounded "R" designs to minimize the risk of injury, particularly for children.

The bed frame's height can be adjusted up or down by 2 4/5 inches (70mm) to accommodate varying mattress thicknesses. For mattresses thicker than 8 inches (20cm), utilize the bottom two mounting holes; for thinner mattresses, use the top two mounting holes. Every detail of our headboard has been thoughtfully designed with real homes in mind. Many bedrooms in Vancouver feature baseboards or wall protrusions that prevent traditional headboards from sitting completely flush against the wall, often resulting in gaps, movement, and unwanted noise.

To address this, we incorporated a discreet cutout into the back of our headboard, allowing it to fit around these architectural features and sit perfectly flush against the wall. This small but purposeful detail creates a cleaner, more integrated appearance while minimizing movement and eliminating the creaking and knocking sounds commonly experienced with conventional bed frames.
